Ardmor House is situated very centrally, a comfortable 15 minute walk from Princes Street (the main shopping area) in a quiet street opposite Pilrig Park. We’re also within a stone’s throw of many great cafes, bars and restaurants (also about 7 minutes walk from the main gay venues!). Getting around town is easy either on foot or by using the frequent bus service which takes you to most parts of town – there’s a bus stop just outside the door! If you’re arriving by car, we have free (24 hours!) parking just outside the house and it’s generally very safe to park your car, although as in any city, don’t leave your valuables inside, just in case! Here’s a summary of how to find us – also check out the map for our location!

By Car (or on foot)…
Find Princes Street on the map. The A1 and A68 terminate at the east end of Princes Street. From the A1 you make a right turn from Waterloo Place on to the A900 (Leith). From the A68 you veer right from South Bridge on to the A900. In both cases, carry on down Leith Street until you reach a roundabout. Carry straight over (the Playhouse Theatre will be on your right) until you reach a second roundabout. Again carry straight over, heading downhill on to Leith Walk. Pilrig Street is the third main street on the left (look for the church on the corner). Ardmor House is on the left hand side opposite the park.
