Since taking over the house in the autumn of 1999, we have upgraded and restored many of the beautiful Victorian features it has whilst adding our own individual style of contemporary elegance.

Here's a glimpse of what we have to offer, from bedrooms and amenities to our breakfast and dining experience!

Our Bedrooms ...

5 in total, all very spacious and beautifully decorated
All rooms are en - suite with brand new shower rooms (powerful showers!), plenty of hot water and fresh towels supplied daily

We can accommodate whether you're looking for a single, double, twin or 3/4 sharing
Central heating throughout - each bedroom with individual temperature controls
Large comfortable (but firm!) beds with fresh white bed linen

Flat screen televisions equipped with digital channel selection
Tea/coffee making hospitality tray
Hairdryer in every room
CD/Alarm clock/Radio in every room

And if there's anything else you need, from an iron, ice (for a quick aperitif before a night on the town!) to a hangover cure!, then please don't hesitate to ask! We're here to do all we can to make everything as easy and enjoyable as possible!

Breakfast is served in the relaxed and informal surroundings of our spacious dining room situated on the ground floor with views across the park! The strains of soothing music will help to gently ease your way into the day - have a read of our complimentary newspapers - and check out the weather forecast if you're feeling brave! Feel free to help yourself to our selection of buffet items including cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts, fruits, cheeses, oatcakes etc. We also supply limitless bread and a toaster so you can make your own toast - to your own specification!
If you'd like something a little more substantial, we are happy to offer a selection of cooked dishes from the following choices:

Full Scottish breakfast (smoked bacon, sausages, eggs - how you like them!, mushrooms and tomatoes)
Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon
Smoked bacon, potato waffles and maple syrup (very popular with our American guests!)
Porridge (for the authentic Scottish experience!)

Of course if there's anything we don't have on the menu, we'll do our best to accommodate your special dietary requirements. If you're vegetarian we're sure you'll find plenty of selection to satisfy, and we'll also rustle up some veggie sausages if required!

And for those of you who've had one too many small sherries the night before, you may wish to take advantage of our continental room service breakfast option instead of braving the dining room! Just let us know and we can arrange it!
